Case Study 1: Worn and deteriorated teeth.

Before: Front View: Upper and Lower Teeth: This patient had been grinding their teeth for a long time and it was affecting their smile and function. They also did not know that they were suffering from gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), which caused erosion of their teeth. The combination of Bruxism and GERD can cause significant wear of your teeth.

Before: Inside Upper Jaw View: If your teeth are worn down, you may need a crown lengthening procedure to regain height of the teeth to restore them back to your previous bite. In this case, It was necessary to do crown lengthening procedure and open the patient’s bite to gain restorative space.
